Hannah Morgan, Ph.D. Candidate
Internal Medicine, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine
Research Assistant
Before coming to UC, I was an undergrad at Ohio Northern University where I received my B.S. in Biochemistry. My research experience was in organometallic synthesis making different palladium catalysts in the chemistry lab to be used in making biodegradable polymers such as polylactic acid. After graduation, I joined the pathobiology and molecular medicine program at University of Cincinnati in 2022 and started in Dr. Wei Huang’s lab. My current research projects aim to understand the R-loop structure’s role of danger signaling between cardiomyocytes and immune cells during sepsis and ischemic reperfusion injury.
