AHA Summer Research Fellow

My name is Asia Raulerson and I was born in Saipan, Northern Marianas Islands. I currently attend Albany State University in Georgia, majoring in Biology and minoring in chemistry. Not only am I involved with the sciences, but sports as well! I have been playing tennis for 14 years now and it has made a positive impact on my life. The transition from athletics to sciences has been a learning experience! My passion for research and medicine is dedicated to transitioning findings from the laboratory to clinical settings, thereby bridging the gap between research and patient care.
